I'm searching ways to not feel stuck with the iPhone as only camera and remind myself that it is a choice. I don't want to go down the Fuji APSc-route again, I don't want the Ricoh without viewfinder and I don't want a not-Phone-camera with ai. And maybe... it's the other parts of my life that restricts my options for photography. And not the actual camera gear.

Back to where I re-started
I gave up on the D-Lux. The zoom's slowness, its jog button and the cumbersome moving of the focus point with on the arrow pad – or accidentally with ones nose when the touch function is activated. I really wanted to like this camera, but now after roughly 500 exposures over three months, both every-day-pictures and some dedicated test images of lens performance etc, I can at least say that the D-Lux is not for me. I'm kind of back to where I was last summer: one iPhone and a riciddulously large GFX with manual lenses and a kit zoom.
I guess this will be it, for now; at the moment there's no other small'ish cameras that I'd like to try.

Another wide one
π¨ A lot to do at work at the moment.
π± Panorama's are starting to grow on me. (And I still struggle with 4:3, especially with the D-Lux.)
☕️ I'm also getting rather fond of these single pack instant cappuccini, although they are nowhere nere the real thing. It is a totally different type of drink imo, but lot's of sugar, which is supposedly good for one's soul.

iPhone panorama
↔️ Felt for some wide images today, inspired by Jaakko HeikkilΓ€. These are made with the iPhone panorama function though.
π Drove hubby to the next larger town, so he could take a bus home. Took a new for mw route back, on some slower dirt roads.
π· Also discovered that the D-Lux meters a wee bit hot outdoors, at least in overcast if one wants to use the jpegs. -1/3 does it better.

Almost late autumn colors
π It is the beginning of spring, but the color palette felt like late autumn today. The temperature, and the freshness of the air, too.
π Leaving for work in a day or two. Let's hope the adders are still hibernating or whatever they do during the cold part of the year. When they start to show up, Miss Dog will be kept on a shorter leash on our walkabouts.☁️ These HDR'ish clouds... only in the iPhone to this extent. They did look massive in reality, though.
