I gave up on the D-Lux. The zoom's slowness, its jog button and the cumbersome moving of the focus point with on the arrow pad – or accidentally with ones nose when the touch function is activated. I really wanted to like this camera, but now after roughly 500 exposures over three months, both every-day-pictures and some dedicated test images of lens performance etc, I can at least say that the D-Lux is not for me. I'm kind of back to where I was last summer: one iPhone and a riciddulously large GFX with manual lenses and a kit zoom.
I guess this will be it, for now; at the moment there's no other small'ish cameras that I'd like to try.
