⚫   This winter, I've found the darkness rather draining. We passed winter solstice six days ago, and mentally it has been really good crossing that point. However, there are still seven days to go, before the sun rises over the horizon.

🐕   I'm entertaining the thought of getting a pair of sliding snowshoes, mainly to be "walk" the dog on the prepared ski tracks instead of the boring walkways here. Add a pulling harness and it will be a good outlet for excess energy.

☕   We're out of coffee capsules and too lazy to go to the store, so I'm having instant Nescafe today. Which always makes me think of the Call the Midwife TV series.
